Welcome to our Ziggy & Moon! We are thrilled to introduce you to our latest cinematic offering, "Ziggy & Moon". Our film tells the heartfelt story of 4 unlikely friends who embark on a journey of self-discovery and adventure.
GENRE: Family/Adventure/Sci-Fi
LOGLINE: When a young girl meets a new furry strange animal who gives her magical powers, she sets off to teach her biggest nemesis a lesson. But as everything starts to unfold, she finds that sometimes unkind people are the ones who need kindness the most.
At our core, we are a team of passionate filmmakers who are committed to bringing unique and compelling stories to the screen. With "Ziggy & Moon", we set out to create a film that would resonate with audiences of all ages, exploring themes of friendship, identity, and the beauty of the natural world.
through Product sales and Private Profit Shares we hope to raise the funds to bring our story to life.
The characters
ZIGGY: 10 years old, fun, sweet, quirky. She is constantly teased and bullied by a group of girls who used to be friends of hers, but refuses to change who she is. She recently lost her father and is trying to understand how to navigate life without him.
OLLIE: 10 years old, best friend of Ziggy’s. They have known each other their entire lives. He loves a good mystery and usually follows along with any of Ziggy’s hair-brained plans.
MOON: A furry alien who finds himself lost on Earth after a Solar Eclipse, he's scared and young and just trying to figure out how to get back home. He does not speak, just communicates through noises. (Made with VFX)
CORA: 10 years old, A bully, constantly picking on Ollie and Ziggy. She also lost her father when she was younger and during that time stopped being friends with Ziggy. She now has an evil step-dad whom she does not like.
ETTA: 11 years old, Ziggy’s older sister. Close to the same age as Ziggy, but they don’t get along. She has secretly befriended Ziggy’s nemesis, Cora.
DERRICK: 40s, Cora’s step-dad. He spends his days belittling Cora while searching for an alien that will make him a ton of money if captured.
CATHY: 30s-40s, Ziggy and Etta’s mom. Trying to raise 2 girls on her own after her husband passed. She is a little lonely and just wishes her daughters would get along.
MISS WINTERS: (40s to 50s) Teacher, frazzled, loves funky clothes. Oblivious to the bullying always happening in her classroom. Always distracted and scatterbrained.
